DOT REASONABLE SUSPICION TRAINING FOR SUPERVISORS

Workplace substance abuse has a direct effect on public safety in the transportation industry. The purpose of this course is to teach supervisors to identify circumstances and indicators in the workplace that may create reasonable suspicion that a driver is using or under the influence of alcohol or drugs and how to respond. The goal is to assist supervisors in gaining confidence and skills in regard to their reasonable suspicion testing responsibilities and help keep unsafe, impaired drivers off the road.

THIS COURSE OBJECTIVES ARE FOLLOWS:

  • Recognize the signs and symptoms of substance abuse in the workplace.
  • Learn how to identify, document, and manage reasonable suspicion process procedures.
